Heritage Development & Construction, Inc. purchases Arcade Building

Heritage Development & Construction, Inc., has recently purchased the Arcade Building located at 187 South Schuyler Avenue, Kankakee, Illinois. HDC will beign an extensive remodeling and restoration project to restore the building originally built in 1883. The completed restoration will transform the former Arcade Building into an aesthetically pleasing and functional professional and educational facility. Upon completion, HDC will rename the building to Clock Tower Centre due to its location immediately adjacent to Clock Tower Park.
The architectural details of the current facade and interior of Clock Tower Centre will be preserved while total replacement of windows, elevators, electric, mechanical, and plumbing systems will begin immediately. In this manner the character and history of the structure will be retained as functional amenities are improved.
HDC will custom design the suites for all Clock Tower Centre tenants. The building will also include security for all stairways and elevators to control access to tenant suites as their needs dictate. A fully automatic sprinkler system for fire protection will be installed and all code requirements will be fully addressed.
